San Diego County's first cold plunge and breathwork studio is expanding to add two new locations, Liberty Station in September and Encinitas (opening date TBD).

Adding to its existing four San Diego locations (Downtown, Solana Beach, Carlsbad, and Rancho Bernardo), Elevate Training, a popular local Lagree fitness studio, is expanding to Pacific Highlands Ranch in Carmel Valley. Known for its intense, full-body workouts utilizing the Megaformer machine, Elevate Training is currently enrolling founding members for its newest studio, anticipating an opening in May.

This North Carolina-based Pilates studio chain is set to open its first California location in South Carlsbad in Spring 2025. Known for their innovative Pilates and musically-driven yoga workouts, flowCORPS offers a high-intensity workout experience. The studio’s Instagram bio also states that it will also offer infrared heated mat Pilates classes.

Scheduled to open in La Jolla Village on May 3rd, R3 Spa is a luxury contrast therapy center designed for fast recovery and to reduce inflammation. The facility combines advanced recovery equipment with invigorating cold and hot therapies to help achieve optimal physical and mental wellness. Therapies will include compression therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, hot tubs and red-light therapy.
