Barre3 San Diego Lands in North Park
After running outdoor barre classes for over a year and a half, barre3 San Diego has finally found its home location in North Park. Read on to learn more about this studio’s unique approach to wellness and fitness and how you can get a complementary class to try it out!
The team at barre3 San Diego
barre3 San Diego has finally opened its home studio in North Park, after offering barre classes outdoors for the past year and a half.
“I chose North Park because I love the diverse community,” says Salina Navarro, Barre3 San Diego studio owner. “It’s such an inclusive environment and we too have a diverse team of instructors.”
What is barre3?
Barre3 has grown to over 170 franchise studios across the country. Unlike other barre methods that focus solely on toning and strength, barre3 is a full-body, balanced workout combining strength conditioning, cardio + mindfulness.
“We end every class with breathing and mindfulness exercises. Stillness is just as important as the big movements,” says Navarro.

Community Founded on Body Positivity and Inclusivity
While the primary focus is fitness, barre3’s mission is also centered around building a welcoming, inclusive community.
“The people who are attracted to barre3 are going to find a community that supports you exactly where you are,” says Navarro. “And our class is for everybody at any level, we will meet you where you are at. Come as you are, no need to wear fancy workout clothes. This is a safe place for people to find more happiness and healthiness in their lives.”
