Point Loma is now home to Yoga Haven SD, a new hatha + vinyasa yoga studio right off of West Point Loma Blvd. Read on to hear about the inception of this studio and how it already has a loyal following.
After The House of Yogi abruptly closed at the end of 2022, its local Point Loma studio community was left without a home.
So four its instructors banded together to open Yoga Haven SD in the same strip mall on West Point Loma Boulevard. Yoga Haven SD's newly renovated studio space offers hatha, vinyasa, slow flow and yin classes along with special sound healing meditations and workshops. The studio is also installing a full yoga wall in a few weeks.
Yoga for All
The biggest highlight is Yoga Haven SD's commitment to making accessible to all with a low monthly membership rate at $108 for unlimited yoga.
“Everybody should be able to afford yoga because it's really important for everybody to do,” says co-owner Amanda Sabato.
Affordable drop-in classes are also available along with special workshops and events. The studio also plans to offer Yoga Teacher Training this fall.
