The lush lawns of Balboa Park are set to transform into a hub of conscious living as San Diego EarthFest returns this Saturday, April 25. After drawing more than 10,000 attendees last year, the city’s largest Earth Day celebration is back at the Presidents Way Lawn from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a zero-waste experience that bridges the gap between personal health and planetary preservation.
This year’s festival features over 100 sustainable vendors, an international plant-based food court, and two stages of live entertainment. However, the true heartbeat of the 2026 event is a significantly expanded wellness program designed to foster a deeper connection between the individual and the environment.
"Wellness is an essential part of sustainability," says Michelle May, Director of Viridian Productions (the organizers behind San Diego EarthFest). "How we care for ourselves is directly connected to how we care for the planet. This year, we intentionally expanded our wellness programming with immersive sound baths, plant-inspired reiki, heart-opening kirtan, grounding meditation, and mindful movement—practices that help us reconnect with nature and create the world we want to see."
Wellness Class Schedule: Saturday, April 25

The festival will host 12 donation-based wellness classes across two dedicated areas: the Movement Zone and the Mind Zone. Space is limited so pre-registration is highly recommended to secure your spot.

A Zero-Waste Tradition

Beyond the yoga mats, EarthFest remains a powerhouse of environmental action. Partnering with Sustainability is Sexy, the event aims to build on last year’s success of diverting over 1,000 lbs of waste from landfills. Attendees can enjoy healthy cooking demonstrations, browse Earth-friendly fashion, and explore the Healthy Kids, Happy Planet zone for youth-led activities.
Parking will also be free at the nearby Inspiration Point lot for up to three hours.
