On Thursday, January 15, Hema Crockett, Founder of Recalibrate Coaching, invites the community for an intimate evening of reflection, storytelling, and intentional connection at Choice Point: The Courage to Change, hosted at Lavande Wellness Boutique in La Jolla. Designed for anyone standing at a personal or professional crossroads, the event invites guests to pause, tune inward, and explore what it truly takes to choose change with clarity and courage.
The evening begins with a grounding cacao ceremony led by Lavande Wellness Boutique Founder Krystia Rae, setting the tone for deeper conversation and presence. From there, Hema Crockett will share her personal “choice point” story - drawing from her background as a former corporate executive who walked away from a traditional definition of success to build a more aligned, values-driven life. Hema now works with high-achieving women navigating burnout, reinvention, and major life transitions, helping them challenge default paths and reconnect with what they actually want.
Following Hema's talk, she will moderate a candid panel discussion featuring Krystia and Kim Bauman, Founder of One Love Movement, whose work is rooted in her lived experience as a Korean adoptee, humanitarian, and longtime yoga teacher focused on inclusion, equality, and compassion. Centered on courage, self-trust, and navigating change, the conversation will open to questions from the audience before closing remarks and an opportunity to mingle, shop, and enjoy light bites in the calming Lavande Spa setting.
